Samson came to my bed, told me my hair was red...

"This could be the end of everything; so why don't we go somewhere only we know?"

You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me

I’ve been brought down to my knees and I’ve been pushed way past the point of breaking.
But I can take it and I’ll be back, back on my feet.
This is far from over, you haven’t seen the last of me.

They can say that I won’t stay around but I’m gonna stand my ground.
You’re not gonna stop me, you don’t know me, you don’t know who I am, don’t count me out so fast.

This is not the end, I’m down now but I’ll be standing tall again.
Times are hard but I was built tough and I’m gonna show you all what I’m made of.

I’m not going nowhere.
I’m staying right here.
I’m not taking my bow.
It’s not the end.
You haven’t seen the last of me.

I Can’t Make You Love Me

Turn down the lights, turn down the bed, turn down these voices inside my head,
Lay down with me and tell me no lies,
Just hold me close, don’t patronize me,
Because I can’t make you love me if you don’t,
You can’t make your heart feel something it won’t.

I’ll close my eyes, then I won’t see,
The love you don’t feel when you’re holding me,
Morning will come and I’ll do what’s right,
Just give me till then to give up this fight,
And I will give up this fight.

-Bonnie Raitt

My Outlook On Life

I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment, and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it.
